BIOS:

Hi!  My name is Allie and I was born on Dec 30th, 2017.  I am told I am a Rottie/Aussie mix.  I was not socialized well with humans during the first few weeks of my life so I am pretty shy – I am learning that human hands are a good thing and they won’t hurt me.  When I see a hand reached out for me, I happily run up and lick the hand then quickly run away.  I am slowly learning.

My foster mom has taught me how to sit and we are working on not jumping up on people and other things – It is so hard not to because I get so excited!!   I will sit before my food bowl is placed on the floor and I will sit on command.  My fur-ever home will need to watch me because I can get a little grumpy with my sister when food is around.  We are also working on that.  I am also kennel trained and still working on house training – Hey, I am a puppy so give me a break!

Right now, I live with my sister and three other adult dogs – my foster brother plays with us a lot and is teaching us how to be a nice dog.  My foster sister is Miss Grumpy Guts and a fun hater.  We have learned to stay clear of her.  My other foster brother tries hard to ignore us – no matter how much we try to play with him.  Every once in a while we can get him to play a game of chase which I love to do!!   We also live with 5 cats.  They are not much fun.  One cat will lie on the floor and let my sister and I chew on her but the others want to keep their distance and will swat us on the nose if we get too close.  If that happens, we are out of there!!

My ideal home will be a home that will show me patience and continue to teach me how nice it is to be loved by a family.  They will also understand that I could be grouchy with my food and always work on that with me.  Won’t you consider being my fur-ever home?  I promise to love and make you laugh every day!

 Love and Paws,

Allie
