Roz
Our beloved Roz went to the bridge late August 2004. She was our first experience with both breeds, Rottweiler & Doberman and what a wonderful representative of both she was!
I first got her at age 6 weeks, she went everywhere I did, work, horse shows, to Tennessee and finally Illinois.
She attended the child development center where I worked often also, she just loved everyone especially children!
She passed away at age 17 quietly in her special napping place in the sunshine!
I will always miss you , my best friend
This kindly friend of mine who's passed
Beyond the realm of day
Beyond the realm of darkling night
To unknown bourne away
Was one who deemed my humble home
A palace grand and fair
Whose fullest joy it was to find
Her comrade ever there
Ah ! She has gone from out my life
Like some dear dream I knew
A person may own a hundred dogs
But one she loves, and true
Till we meet again beloved Roz
Hannah
Hannah
4-2006 - 8-2006
Little Hannah never had a chance. MARR was contacted about this sweet little 5 month old rottie girl by a veterinarian emergency clinic.
It seems her owner's neglected to take proper care of Hannah, not seeing she recieved the proper vaccinations.
Hannah was brought to the clinic by her owners to be put to sleep as they didn't want to bother with trying to get her well.
The clinic staff had them sign over ownership so that they could treat her and in the event she may have made it through this awful virus, she would have become a MARR foster dog.
Sadly little Hannah did not make it. God speed little Hannah,as you are now free to romp with all the others gone before you across the Rainbow Bridge.
Please seek out a veterinarian when getting a new puppy/dog to ensure they live a long and happy life.
Beloved Otto
We lost our Bandit on June 23, 2000 to cancer - age 4 1/2 yrs
On July 23, 2000 we picked up this gangly big golden eyed Rottie approx 11
months old from MARR transport. By the time we got to our home Otto was
ingrained in our hearts and our journey together began.
Here is what I wrote MARR at the time he Rescued US.
Message dated 9-2-2000
RESCUE SAVES RESCUER
Otto, once Jacob, is our rescue. At the time this happened we had only had this
young boy 35 days!!
It was a week ago tomorrow. I had a container of water with chicken pieces in
it on the stove for soup later.
Since my auto accident I have had problem with my shoulder and I had been doing
a lot of stuff I am not suppose to - as a result I was in quite a bit of muscle
pain. Now when the auto accident happened I was in intensive care a week and
use to drugs. I am "clean" now and the muscle relaxer I took did not bother me
before but since I am "clean" it really put me out. Joe, my husband, had
gone into town and I just fell asleep. Otto woke me with a gentle lick on my
arm and butting, again gently, with his head!! The whole house was full of
black smoke!! He saved not only me but our other Rottie, Daisy, that only has
one good leg and four cats ranging in age from 11 to 17 yrs. NEEDLESS TO SAY -
"HE IS ONE GREAT FRIEND!!"
Otto is a young one, his cheeks are still soft and I
can just see how really great he will be when he matures.
Thank you one and all that do rescue!! Words just will not do for what is in my
heart. Otto was AWESOME and SO ARE ALL OF YOU THAT CARE FOR THOSE NO ONE WANTS
ANY LONGER.
Our big Otto left us yesterday. After a short round with cancer. He was in our car, which he loved, and with us. He left many friends and large hole in our hearts and home. He was a very good boy..

Carmen
Carmen dear sweet Carmen went to play with Rex and Otto today.
With no scars or memories of how her life was before meeting her caretaker of the past year.
She was loved by all, even those never having met her as her shining soul, touched all.
We have friends who are always by our sides
We are never very far apart no matter the time
We have friends that listen to what we say and never judge what we have done, but what's inside
They give us the support we need to make it through the day
And when sad, seems to know what we need
Our friend is not like us having things we do not like four legs, a tail that wags and a nose wet and cold
They let us know with a gentle nudge that they care and are there for us
We'll never be that far apart and when the time comes
I know we will be together again in that spot above
