BIO: Hi I’m Grizzly. I am 4 ½ yrs. old. I love to pay ball and with my chew toys. I get along pretty well with my foster sisters, but I do get a little jealous when they are getting attention and I am not. My foster parents think I would be happier being the only dog in the home. I do walk very well on a leash. I have lived most of my life outside, but my foster parents are teaching me inside manners. I have learned to not put my paws on the counters and to not jump on the door when they go outside without me. I have also learned that I am supposed to go outside to go potty, so I now go to the door to let my foster parents know I need to go. I know the commands sit, stay, down, no, come, and leave it. I am very smart and learn new things very quickly, so you CAN teach an older dog new tricks. I love people, especially men. I have not been around small children, so I do not know if I like them. However, I have been around my foster parent’s 9 month old grandson and I do like to sniff him and lick his feet. I have been around cats and I just do not like them. Maybe I think they are some kind of varmint that I am supposed to get. So, I would probably harm one if I was able to get ahold of it. My foster parents also taught me to sit and wait until they put my food down for me and they say it’s ok for me to eat. Since I always had to defend and protect what was mine most of my life, I do get grouchy and prefer to be left alone while I am eating. Don’t get me wrong though, I am a very sweet boy who loves to cuddle and give kisses. My foster parents say I am a very good boy. I’ve come along way, but still have a little more work to do. I have so much love to give and just need someone with a little patience.
