Murphy was born the first part of May 2017. He and his litter mates (Bailey & Gibson) were left in a box at a gas station in a small town in OK. The local shelter is not equipped to care for tiny puppies and contacted us. We believe Murphy is a Rottie mix.
Murphy and his siblings have been in their foster home for about three weeks. We are working on establishing a routine and of course kennel & house training. The pups have very few accidents in the house now. We are getting ready to start on basic obedience like sit and wait – Mom will be happy with a few seconds wait at this point. All three are very curios pups and like to get into everything so puppy proofing your house is a must! When it is time to settle down, they are happy to go to sleep in your arms or run to their kennel for a nap. Murphy is the ring leader of the three and has the most energy so keeping him entertained is a must.
Note from Murphy:
Mom often calls me by my nick name – Pudge. She says I have a round belly and very pudgy, whatever that means. All I know is I am very happy with life. I love playing with my brother and sister along with my older foster brother Koda (5 year old Rottweiler). I try to play with Fawn (9 year old female Rottie mix) but she is a fun hater and likes to keep everyone in check – so she thinks. Mom just calls her a grouch. I also try to play with the cats but they just don’t get me which makes me really sad.
My ideal new home will have another dog for me to play with to help keep me entertained or someone home all the time as I do get upset when I am left alone. Won’t you consider adopting me? I promise to fill your life with laughter and unconditional love. <3 Pudge (Murphy)
