Sarge is a beautiful male Rottweiler seeking his forever family.

This handsome boy is quite affectionate and craves attention. His love languages are touch and quality time. He walks well on a leash. Plays well with his fur foster sister and seems to get along with the neighbor dogs. He doesn't seem overly phased by other dogs while on walks and can easily endure a 3 mile walk. He does well when people come to visit including older kids and young adults. Enjoys car rides.

Life before MARR is a mystery. Initially Sarge was a little skiddish in general and significantly around his foster dad. In short amount of time with some quick tips for his foster family, Sarge learned to trust and love again! You would never know that he had been so fearful. While currently still afraid of the crate, he is warming up to the concept in seeing his foster sister use it as her safe zone.

Sarge loves to lay on a dog bed and is quickly learning to play with others and walk up/down stairs. He is also learning to play with toys and open to trying new treats. Does not like his vegetables, prefers meat, eggs, and peanut butter. He has not shown any signs of food or treat aggression.

Believed to be 2-3 years. Recently neutered, no known vetting issues or serious health issues. Speculated that he spent a lot of time in a kennel due to wear on his teeth, posture, and muscle strength in back legs. With healthy diet and regular exercise muscle strength can continue to develop.

Initially marked in the house frequently. Post neuter, it has significantly decreased. Foster family working through the training.

He has not been cat tested or been around very young children.
