BIO:   Adventures with Sheba as she prepares for her forever home!!

Sheba is a 5 year old, spayed female Rottweiler.  Sheba is gorgeous, and she's about 85lbs, maybe just a tad overweight right now. She's a very happy girl, and she has frequent bursts of energy and races around and jumps. It's really funny and kind of cute, but she can also get easily overstimulated and then she stops thinking about her manners and can be kind of naughty and wants to jump and mouth people. So that's something we are going to work really hard on so her future family can count on her to be a good girl.

When she's calm, she LOVESSSSS to be petted and will roll over and give you a goofy smile so you can scratch her belly.

She seems to be great with other dogs, but as always a proper introduction should be done first. She may have been handled a bit rough in her past.

Sheba does need proper introductions with strangers as new people can make her feel nervous.

Sheba LOVES walks!  She's not great on the leash yet, but we started with the Halti collar yesterday and she adapted very quickly, so I know it won't take much to get her walking nicely. She knows sit, and down, so far. She also goes to the door to go out and seems to be very well potty trained. She seems to know "outside". Working on "kennel" too. When she is in her kennel, she may whine for a bit but she settles down and naps if you ignore her.

Just like any rottie, she can be stubborn at times, but patience goes a LONG way with her. She is easy to reward though, as she is food motivated! :)

I recommend that if she goes to a home with children, that they are older children, because while she is getting better, hugging or grabbing can make her nervous when it surprises her.
