BIO:  Stay tuned for updates from his foster family.

Information from shelter:

Health: overall healthy; he came to Stray Rescue a healthy weight, good coat etc.; when he was being neutered, they discovered via x-ray that he had an abscessed, jagged bullet embedded in his armpit. Obviously, that’s been removed. He still needs cherry eye repair, suture removal, and boosters (which are all scheduled to be done in the next 10 days here at our clinic)

Other temperament notes:

T-Rex can be a bit guarded when meeting new people, but he warms up very quickly. He’s very sweet with the staff who works with him on a daily basis. He does fine with other dogs, he’s just a bit fearful of them. We’ve been taking him on pack walks and doing structured play groups with other dogs and he’s getting more confident with dogs; his social skills are vastly improving. Not sure about cats. Our training and enrichment teams are working with him on basic commands and walking well on a leash etc. He’s VERY food motivated and responsive to training.
