Characteristics: Artie is a high energy bundle of fun. She is very social and was extremely friendly to myself and my friend James who went with me to the evaluation. In a nutshell she is super sweet. She is around 2, not spade, not current on vaccinations (I don’t know if she has ever been to the vet) and not in Heartworm prevention. She gets no walks or formal exercise. She could be a great dog with some patience and structure. She really doesn’t look very rottie. She is around 35-40 lbs. I told him I would imagine we could get her in as a referral dog and I told him to contact KC Pet Project again. It might take a long time for our group to find someone. Again she was super friendly. She craves attention. And needs someone to be the boss. She is food, treat and bone possessive. Artie’s environment has recently changed due to divorce and dogs are spending a lot of time by themselves without their people. Artie is a fun-loving pup who needs lots of attention. She would do best in a household where she is the only dog as she has been dog and cat aggressive. She’s great with people and kids, she just needs some training to help remind her not to jump on her friends.
