Gets Along with Women: He’s okay with women as his owner, but gets slightly uncomfortable around women he doesn’t know

Very loving and affectionate dog, loves his family and other dogs. Gets protective over his family’s kids and parents. Can be anxious around new people. Needs someone well versed in rotties and can teach him boundaries. He’s beautifully crate trained and eats well, not food aggressive at all or around other dogs. Unsure about small animals. Would recommend no small animals or kids if possible. Large fenced yard to run. He loves to play fetch.

Meet Bruin. He’s an almost 5-year-old pure bred Rottweiler who is very affectionate and loves his people. He lives with another dog in the home and his kennel is his safe space. Very well crate trained. He has been in a home with many small children his whole life. He has done fine with them, but as he gets older, he has started to resource guard the children and owners around people he’s unfamiliar with. For this reason, he is being rehomed. He needs someone well versed in Rottweilers and their protective temperament that will give him the opportunity to be trained and have clear boundaries. He loves to play fetch, he loves to run and he loves to snuggle. He is a great eater and an awesome companion. He loves men. Would do well in a couples home or someone with older children and not chaotic households. He would need a fenced in yard or a large property to run on and someone who could give him the affection he craves and the attention and training he deserves.
