BIO: Champagne is only about 12-18 months old and came into the shelter facility as a cruelty/neglect case. She was extremely malnourished but has since gained 20 lbs. At some point Champagne had become pregnant and was temporarily moved to a short-term foster home while she delivered her pups (not available) and is now back in the shelter.
Champagne is a very friendly, energetic and lively girl who loves all people but she may knock over small children with her enthusiasm. Cat interaction is unknown and other dogs are not recommended. Champagne is very sweet and curious and is very interested in treats and what other people are doing. Once she settles down, she loves to cuddle and will sit in your lap for hours.
Champagne would definitely benefit from proper training to learn her manners but she will definitely become a wonderful companion for an active family.
