The good:
Onyx is a purebred Rottweiler from Schomburg Kennels in LaCrosse, WI. He was born January 29, 2022 and is AKC registered (I have the paperwork to accompany his adoption). His markings are very distinct of a Rottie. Overall Onyx is good tempered. He still has a lot of puppy in him and is high energy. He loves going for walks and playing with his toys. I made it a priority to socialize him from a young age. I have boarded him at a few facilities and taken him to the dog park and he seems to be good with dogs.
The not-so good:
Onyx seems to have food aggression and/or resource guarding issues. He has bitten 2 people who had food/treats in their hand. I have consulted with 2 different trainers to curb this behavior and taken the necessary precautions to prevent it from happening again, but I am just not equipped to give him the time and attention he needs, which is why I am looking to re-home him.
