BIO: I’m Rocky and I am 2 years old.  My foster parents say I am all puppy. It must be because I love to play, and play, and play.  I will need a home with a fenced in yard so that I can run and play.  I just love to run after my ball again and again.  I have a lot of energy so a family that can handle a high energy guy like me would be best.  I’m pretty sure I would get along with older children.  It would be so fun to run and play with them in my own backyard.  Since I am rambunctious sometimes, smaller children may need to be supervised so that I don’t get too excited and knock them down.  I am super friendly and I love everyone I meet.  I am sooooo affectionate, I just love to give hugs and kisses.  My foster dad says I’m a “close talker” because I like getting right up in your face.

I tend to bond really well with male humans, but I do love my foster mom too.  She’s home with me all day, so we spend a lot of time together.  I get along well with my k-9 foster sisters. However, I do not like my feline foster siblings at all (and there are four of them!).  I’m pretty sure that if I got a hold of one, it would not end well for the feline. So a home without cats would be best.

My foster mom says I am really smart.  I have learned several commands such as, sit, stay, down, lay down and come.  I am kennel trained and house trained, so I do go to the door when I need to go outside.  I’ve been learning to sit and wait for my food.  My foster parents say I walk pretty well on a leash, if I’m not excited and in a hurry to get to where I want to go.  Otherwise, I do pull a little so continuing my leash training may be necessary.  I am not destructive and only chew on my toys.  My foster parents say I will make a great family member.  I am a very sweet, happy boy that just wants a forever family of my own that will give me all the love that I desperately need.
