BIO: Hello. Let me take a minute to introduce myself… My name is Achilles. I may be a 5 year old boy but I still like to act like a pup. I like to run and play in the snow. I try to play fetch but I am not always very good at bringing the ball back. I love cuddle and to be the center of attention. If you pet me I will give you kisses. My grandma says that I need to control my licker. I also really enjoy getting a bath! My mom tells me that there are a lot of dogs out there that hate bath time, but I don’t understand them at all. If my mom can’t find me the first thing she does is check the bathroom. If she forgets to shut the door behind her I hide in the tub in hopes that when she finds me she will give me a bath or at least let me play in the water.
If I am too active my shoulders get really sore. My mom gives me a shot once a month that helps to prevent the early onset of arthritis. I do not like the shots very much but I stand there like a good boy while my mom gives me a shot. I try really hard not to move because when she is done she gives me a snack or two.
I would do well in a house where I am the only dog. My excitement level also improves if I get a walk in every day. Sometimes if I don’t get to go in walk I go in search of things to do I can do on my own. I have not had an opportunity to meet any young children so I think I should look for a home with only older children.
If you are an experienced handler with strong breeds (such as a Rottweiler or maybe a Mastiff) and would be willing to work me, give my mom a call or email her she would love to hear from you! I may be a perfect addition to your family that you are looking for.
