Characteristics: Ava is a sweet and playful puppy. She had a rough start to life and was found at large in Memphis. Since living with us she has caught on quickly to basic commands and is fully potty trained. Ava loves her daily walks, swimming, and playing fetch. She walks OK on a leash but needs continued training. She hasn’t been tested around cats, but I don’t think she would do well with them. She’s great with dogs at the park and gets along well with our large male dog. However, she and our other female dog do not get along as well (which is why we are looking for a better home for Ava). We think Ava would do well with another male dog or as an only dog. There aren’t any children in our home, but Ava has been around children many times without any issues.
