Characteristics:  Bane is a handsome puppy who is still growing into his head and feet.  He needs  regular puppy training and socialization.  He is playful, happy and strong-willed. He likes to check everything out but he is friendly with everyone and gives his undivided attention when you have treats!  He is at the age where he is starting to test the waters and wants to be in charge, so he will need strong guidance to ensure he becomes a good rottie citizen. He does do a low growl when he is unhappy about something.  In one instance he was being petted and when the petting stopped, he gave the low growl because he still wanted the attention.  He was redirected and was fine and stopped growling.  Shelter staff attribute the growling as dominance asserting and evaluator also thinks the growl was a request to “please pet me more!” Bane didn’t care for being groomed at all.
