Characteristics: Bella came into the shelter with Kane and another dog…the owner is incarcerated and could no longer keep the dogs. She is super friendly and leaned into me for pets and treats. She came right up to me and I could touch her all over. She does fine with all shelter staff and there is no indication she would not be ok with children. She has not shown any resource guarding. Bella loves snuggles and is super affectionate. She is also very chill and not reactive to her surroundings. She has done fine with other dog interactions (although limited). They only have grass in front and side and all dogs are walked outside to potty so they see each other on leashes. Bella knows sit but not sure about other commands.
Shelter will do rabies and heartworm test. Urgent due to shelter being over-capacity.
