Characteristics: Betty is 1 year old and has LOTS of energy. She loves to play and be outside and play tug of war. Because she’s been on the street her whole life, she has terrible manners and plays really rough. She also does not get along with our cats. I think she just wants to play with them, but she’s 83 lbs and as previously mentioned plays really rough, so I fear she would injure them. Because of this I think she would do best in a home with no small children and no cats. She loves dogs and I think she would benefit from having another dog around to teach her how to play nicely. She is a very sweet girl and once she calms down she loves laying on the couch next to us and has the cutest little snores. She is very food motivated and turns into a completely different well trained dog once the treats are out 🙂 I work in an office full time and have left her in a crate for up to 4 hours and she does just fine. I wouldn’t say it’s her favorite place to be, but she doesn’t chew or whine while she’s in there. She has never met a human she doesn’t like. She loves spending time with us and meeting new human friends.
