Characteristics: Breach came into the shelter as a stray and is a social boy who wants attention and he takes treats very gently. Breach knows sit and shake and is fine on a leash unless something interests him and then he pulls.
Notes from evaluator: Breach is very much a puppy – He was just interested in attention when he and I were alone in his run. His tail was wagging and he wanted to be touched. Staff said that he was moved between runs for cleaning and e did not show any issues with the other dogs and did not have any issues with the broom or mop or mop bucket. Other than his over interest in the lobby cats, he appears to be a great pup. As with any dog in boarding, he wants attention. He initially presented as needy but then was just patiently waiting to be loved on. He never jumped on me or was inappropriate. He also was not a licker like some puppies can be. He may open up more once in a home setting but he just appears to want to be touched and once he has that, he calms down and allows you to do whatever. He’s been appropriate with everyone he’s met. Most have been female, but the vet is male and received the same greeting as the females. Breach is a small pocket rott with a great disposition and temperament.
