Characteristics: Cholo is a sweet boy, he was brought in at 11 months old to be housed until his owners could find a home allowing pets. Unfortunately they abandoned him months later. He is very good with kids and female dogs. He is not comfortable around men or male dogs. Cholo is silly and smart but he can be stubborn. He definitely has a rottitude and he is not afraid to speak haha. He is a great dog and will make someone a great companion, he will need more training but otherwise he is the perfect rottie.
Notes from evaluator: Cholo will be an AMAZING dog once he is taught what that is . He was all over me ( literally) kissing me , leaning and jumping! He is currently in a home with another unaltered male and an unaltered female. Cholo LOVES people and Kids. Their niece is able to play ball with him and he allows her to take the ball from him. He looks to be about 2; he is young, and has had ZERO training. He is a wild man and he jumps and is all over the place.
He has a very negative association with the muzzle;, you even bring it out and he gets grumbly. He doesn’t like the vet and does not like his belly touched unless he rolls over and asks for it. Cholo does have some resource guarding with his food but is also underweight and may not be getting enough to eat. He ate a whole bag of treats with me and took them fine but I couldn’t give them to him fast enough.
