Chops is a high energy, protective 130 lb male needing a good home. He loves to play with older kids and adults. Younger kids not so much. He is house trained and crate trained. Overall he is a good boy who loves people. He was recently moved from Michigan to Kentucky with his family. The move has caused Chops to have to adjust to a new environment with more dogs around and more little people running around. He is slow to adapt to the changes, but with some additional training, patience and love, Chops can learn to be more tolerant of a new environment. He has had a minor incident with a neighbor who tried to reach over the fence to pet Chops. Chops wasn’t sure of the person and nipped her. No skin was broken but spooked the woman. Chops was protecting his territory from an unknown person. Chops is loyal to those he knows. The owners feel he would be best in a home with a fence in yard, no other dogs and no small children around. He is a big boy and need some extra training and some special love.
