Characteristics: This is Dude, a 7-yr old 105 pound neutered up to date Rottweiler who is now living in a basement alone in Colorado. His owner is in prison and serving a 6 yr sentence. He has access to the yard to go potty and has a neighbor coming by only once a day to feed him. Other than that, he is isolated in the basement by himself as the owner’s parents are elderly and cannot take him in. They do want Dude to go to a good home where he will receive the proper love, care and attention he deserves!
Dude is extremely friendly and loves people and loves to play. Dude’s situation is heartbreaking through no fault of his own! He has lived in the past
with another male Rottweiler and a Chihuahua; however, he has not had any exposure to cats. The Family is willing to pay if necessary for transport to another state to a Rescue or an approved family!
