BIO: My name is Gunner!!! I’m not sure why, because I don’t know anything about guns or how to hunt… but that’s my name!! I REALLY like playing with toys though and tug and fetch and ball and…. Well, I just like to play!! Right now I don’t get a lot of chances to do that though. I live in a place called a “shelter”, which is okay because they are nice to me, and I’m warm at night and I get 2 squares a day. But I REALLY miss my couch and my bed and my humans. One of the other dogs that lived in my house didn’t like me very much and picked on me a lot, and one day we got in an argument. The man who lived in the house said I had to leave. It made me really, really sad. But I feel better now that these nice people here have been telling me I’m a good boy and teaching me how to be a GOOD DOG!! I’m only 2 years old, so I’m kind of a big puppy still. I weigh about 80lbs and they say I’m a Rottweiler/Shorthaired Pointer mix. I’d love to have a forever family of my own to play with!! I love to play. Did I say that already?? I do have a lot of energy, so if you like to walk or hike or run or play fetch, I’M YOUR GUY!! Oh and I’ll still need help with my manners, but my friends here tell me I’m being SO GOOD!! I do like other dogs, so if you have a big dog that has a lot of playful energy and likes to roughhouse, I bet we could be friends!! I’ve never met a cat but I think they could be fun to chase….so I don’t think they’d like me too much. I do like people, but it takes me a little bit of time (and some treats!!) to warm up to someone I don’t know. Come play with me!!
