Characteristics: Kane came into the shelter with Bella and another dog…the owner is incarcerated and could no longer keep the dogs. Kane is very friendly and is a big handsome lug with a big block head! He came right up to me and I could touch him all over. He does fine with all shelter staff and there is no indication he would not be ok with children. Kane does know sit and he did go down for a treat. He has not shown any resource guarding but he loves to play with toys. He has done fine with other dog interactions (although limited). They only have grass in front and side and all dogs are walked outside to potty so they see each other on leashes.
Shelter will do rabies and heartworm test. Urgent due to shelter being over-capacity.
