Koa was found as a stray. His current mom says he is very loyal and protective with his human companion. He is looking for a quiet home, with few distractions, with a strong leader who can help Koa learn boundaries. He currently lives with a medium-sized dog, but Koa tends to play a little too rough, so he will need help learning the proper way to interact with other dogs once he is properly introduced to other dogs. Koa also currently lives with a human baby and his human mom, who says he stays away from the baby. Koa knows “sit”, “lay”, “come”, and “paws” and is house-trained. He loves his bed and lays around most of the day. He loves to eat but is very protective of his food and bones, so Koa will need help learning not to be overly protective or guard those things. He’s not a huge toy guy other than cuddling with them. Koa’s sweet and loving face will melt your heart!
