Characteristics: Libra is a young, healthy, laid back girl who is seeking a forever home through no fault of her own. Unfortunately, adults in her home have medical issues that prevent them from caring for her, and they have also developed severe allergies to Libra. At present, Libra is just 13 months old, house-trained, crate-trained, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. Libra is used to spending several hours in the crate during the day, and she also sleeps in her crate at night. Otherwise, she is fairly independent and enjoys spending time in the fenced yard. Although Libra has not been around many other dogs, she has lived peacefully with a 10-year old Shih Tzu during the 8-months she has spent in her current home. She can be a little wary of strangers visiting the home, but she would settle well into any quiet home with slow introductions. Due to her size (95 pounds), lack of leash training, and limited interactions with strangers, Libra would do best in a quiet home with experienced dog owners committed to her continued training. She is not yet spayed.
