Characteristics: Roxy was surrendered by owner as owner could not afford heartworm treatment and surgery to remove malignant mammory tumors. (Now removed and her heartworm treatment is finished.) Roxy is a beautiful mature dog who needs a home with a female owner. Roxy loves women but does not care for most men. Kids are unknown but shelter thinks she will do ok with older kids. The longer Roxy is at the shelter, the more she deteriorates due to shelter stress. Roxy needs a loving female based home when she can chill and be comfortable in a calm environment.
