Characteristics: Mellie is a wonderful rottie who came into the shelter as a stray. She isn’t a snuggly girl at first but once she warms up to you she’s loyal for life! She takes just a little time to warm up and consent. She needs people who can control their urge to touch her before she indicates she is ready. She has done wonderfully in play groups! She has some handling sensitivities so a home without kiddos is probably best. She is likely no cats or separate for a while and very slow intro. She lived successfully with another dog without issues. She is house-trained and free roams without any issues either. She loves sprinklers!
