BIO: Remo is a stray 60lb mixed Rottie looking for some patience, love and help. He was in a recent foster home but the foster family had to go out of state for a time period, so Remo came back to the shelter. Remo is not adjusting as well in the shelter and needs a quick rescue to help him de-stress and become the loving Rottie he was meant to be.
Remo originally came into the shelter as a stray. He is young and scared and needs some reassurance and love. He is a little hesitant with men, but with enough time he has warmed up to the men. Remo tends to acclimate with the women a little easier. He has not been tested with cats or kids. His foster family said he was a great dog inside. He didn’t chew anything up that we wasn’t supposed to, is house trained and is a big love bug. He is a puppy still and will need to burn off that extra energy with walks, tug a war or running around. The shelter has learned that Remo does well with a female playmate to help ease his fears.
Remo’s anxiety and stress has caused him to be scared of the volunteers at the shelter. He has nipped at a few workers with no injuries to the workers. He is scared and needs rescued ASAP. If we can’t find him a safe rescue to help him calm his fears, then he will have to be euthanized. If there is someone out there that can give Remo a second chance, we are asking for you to help.
