Characteristics: Rosa is a compact cutie-patootie who is shy at first and reserved but warms up quickly. She is very friendly with people and is very smart and attentive. She will need to learn commands and learn how to walk on a leash. Rose was found as a stray in Gary Indiana. She had injuries on her neck , we believe from a pinch collar that was found by her. She seems to have suffered some abuse in the past. She does flinch if you raise your hand fast or yell at her. She does warm up fast once she is familiar with you. She enjoys following you around and likes to be by people. She loves treats and knows basic commands. She does well keeping her cage clean and going outside. She hates being put back in her cage and will make you force her back in. We actually have to pick her up and put her in. She is very strong and needs some manners on the leash because she likes to pull you around. She would do well to be an only dog in the household. She seems to like tiny puppies but nothing over medium to large size. She has not been tested with cats.
