Characteristics: Sadie lost her home due to an eviction. She lived with 3 kids all under the age of 12, another female rottie and a male pit bull. Sadie was shut down when she got to the shelter, but has since opened up to staff and is a big lap dog. She enjoys sunbathing in the yard, walks nicely on the leash and is friendly with the dogs at the kennel doors and at the fence.
Evaluator notes: Sadie was extremely calm and friendly. Sniffed us then went to snuggle with one of the caretakers. They brought out a male dog for her to interact with and she was very friendly and curious with him. No aggression or stress. Sadie was a complete love bug. She sought out attention and just wanted pets, snuggles and belly rubs. She is very non reactive. They said there was an instance where there were over 10 police officers there and she just calmly went to them for pets and attention. She is a doll! This girl is wonderful. She could do great in a family environment. She is used to being with kids and other dogs. Her sister Luna did get adopted and she was very bonded with her. She is one of the sweetest rotts I have done an evaluation on!
